As Lead Full-Stack Developer at Digital Publishing Technology Company, I maintained production publishing applications built with PHP and MySQL, including WordPress and Craft CMS. The work spanned LEMP deployments, standalone servers, cloud hosting and containerised environments; earlier hosting responsibilities included websites running on AWS EC2.
I worked with publishing users to change application features and editorial workflows, and wrote PHP scripts to migrate business data into Craft CMS. Changes required understanding both the application code and the data it operated on, alongside database changes and production troubleshooting.
I also debugged and documented inherited applications whose operating context was poorly recorded, then helped onboard developers into those codebases. This gave me direct experience of application behaviour, deployment environments and operational handover before moving into security assessment and response engineering.

The publishing estate combined PHP/MySQL applications with WordPress and Craft CMS. Deployments included Linux and Nginx-based LEMP environments, standalone servers, cloud hosting and containers. My earlier hosting work included AWS EC2 websites.
Open this detail ↗Application and migration work
I developed PHP scripts to migrate business data to Craft CMS and maintained application and database changes supporting publishing workflows. I worked with portal users to understand required behaviour and investigated faults in the existing implementation.
Open this detail ↗Documentation and developer handover
I traced faults through inherited code, documented how applications operated and transferred that context to incoming developers. The work covered ongoing production support, migration and onboarding responsibilities within the Lead Full-Stack Developer role.
